Ukarimu Project: Transforming lives through leadership, entrepreneurship and philanthropy..

Apart from distribution of the sanitary towels the students also benefited from reproductive health education and mentorship from award winning designer Winnie Ojanga and Miss Tourism Homabay county (Currently Miss Tourism Kenya2016 Wendy Bello Omollo from Homa Bay county ) motivated the girls to keep on pushing towards achieving their goals and dreams and choosing the right priorities in their lives. The Ukarimu mentoring program aims to  teach the girls/Boys to take care of them selves in order to reduce cases of HIV/AIDs through sex education. The girls who have gone through our program are Empowered!

The intent of  Ukarimu mentoring session is to help our girls obtain a greater awareness and understanding of their own journeys so that the can work hard towards being who they want to be in life and how they want to contribute to society or communities..
